Start working out while playing a sport like Badminton

I want to start working out and get in better shape. However I do really enjoy playing badminton (and don’t want to stop playing it). Would it be wise to start working out with a schedule like PPL? ( I have badminton training on Tuesday and Thursday, so I could do PPL on Monday, Wednesday and Friday) Or is this too much for one week?
