Need suggestion regarding Rope jumping or skipping.

I started rope jumping a few days ago, and I’m able to do it for 800 skips without getting exhausted. But the only problem I’m facing is that I’m not able to do it for more than 20-50 jumps at a time, and after that, the rope gets tangled in between my legs, & I have to start jumping again. Is there a way, so that I can increase my number of jumps at a time? Your suggestion is highly appreciable.
