My fitness journey feels lonely

I started lifting seriously about 5 weeks ago, and although I am making good progress, it just feels so lonely. The only person I can talk to about fitness is my coach, which is not ideal since I don’t want to dump everything on her. I don’t have any friends or family members who are interested in fitness. It is very isolating as I feel so excited about what I am doing, the progress I am making and my goals for bodybuilding competitions. Before I started lifting, I had a thing with a guy who was an avid lifter and has competed before, so I constantly find myself missing him due to this (wanting other people with the same interest). It is difficult now to make friends in this field because of what’s going on in the world. Any suggestions/comments?
