I lost about 1u7lbs back in 2018-2019 and I have become increasingly self conscious about the pecks area

I have slowly come to accept the extra skin and be ok with it but I just cannot get past the extra skin around my breast area and due to a medicine I took as a kid ive had even more issues in terms of one being different then the other i guess what im asking is in terms of lifting what’s a good starting point if I just mainly want to bench to build up some muscle in the pecks? Mainly in terms of reps and if I like the progress i see im hoping that will push me further to improve the rest of my body
