How much natural muscle can a beginner lifter gain on a calorie deficit in a 5-month period?

I’m about 30% bodyfat 6’2 male and I want to lose fat soooo badly but I don’t want to just end up skinny, I want a decent amount of muscle just enough to look good (ex. like a basketball player not too much but not too little). is it possible to do this in a calorie deficit?
