Are accessory movements 100% necessary?

I follow a tradition PPL split. Today, I was running short on time to workout. I did 4×8 of Flat bench press, military press, incline press, and close grip bench press. I went to failure on every set. Is this sufficient to achieve hypertrophy? Or are accessory, isolation movements an absolute must? Thanks.
